Chinese New Year Volunteers’ Gathering 2026

Singapore Buddhist Welfare Services and Fu Hui Buddhist Cultural Centre jointly celebrated the festive season with great joy on 28 February 2026, by hosting a heartwarming Chinese New Year gathering for 200 dedicated volunteers.

The evening began with a vibrant vegetarian lo-hei. Wishes for good health, happiness and prosperity were shouted out enthusiastically, as the colourful ingredients were tossed high — symbolising abundance and a flourishing year ahead.

The excitement continued through lively BINGO games, with volunteers cheering and laughing throughout the evening. The hall buzzed with energy each time someone triumphantly called out “BINGO!”

This was followed by a sumptuous, vegetarian buffet, allowing everyone to enjoy a hearty meal amidst the warmth of fellowship. Adding to the festive thrill, 10 lucky volunteers walked away with special door gifts, bringing extra smiles to the celebration.

It was truly a joyful and wonderful evening, through which we expressed appreciation to our volunteers and celebrated the Chinese New Year together as one big family.
