At Fu Hui Buddhist Cultural Centre, we commemorated Shakyamuni Buddha’s birth, Enlightenment and Final Nirvana, with four sessions of Vesak Infinite Light Dharma Assemblies, culminating in the Vesak Day Dharma Assembly on 26 May 2021. Devotees who did not join the Dharma Assemblies (due to the restricted number of participants allowed in prayer congregations), took part in other religious activities such as showering a baby figurine of Buddha, bell-chiming and blessings. All activities were conducted in compliance with the safe management measures stipulated for Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) of the COVID-19 pandemic.
